Terri-Nichelle Bradley Chief Strategist Bradley had operated the boutique agency since 2005. Playground PR consists of a network of professionals with expertise in total market and multicultural communications with a specialty focus on targeting African-American moms. Bradley has built a business on understanding the Black mom as a consumer fully realizing that these moms are the gatekeepers to the home. Bradley supports her clients’ efforts in developing meaningful dialogues with this discerning market by creating authentic programs of engagement. Playground has developed campaigns addressing healthcare disparities, launching consumer brands and managing strategic partnerships. Playground PR offers its clients unique opportunities to engage Black moms with programs such as Beauty Shop Buzz™ and Family Faith Marketing™, both of which tap into the power faith and fellowship plays in the lives of African-American moms. Bradley has served as a vice president of corporate and crisis affairs at one of the largest pr firms in the country. In her role Bradley led the pr efforts of many major household consumer brand. During this time Bradley also served as a mentor to several junior staff members. Before starting her consultancy, Bradley had helped to launch, then later directed, the U.S. Army’s DVIDS program. DVIDS was the media relations and crisis communications arm of the entire U.S. military for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. This turnkey operation also was the U.S. military’s program of choice during any international or stateside response to humanitarian or natural disasters such as Hurricane Katrina, the tsunami in Southeast Asia and the 2007 Minneapolis bridge collapse. As a civilian contractor, Terri worked closely with military leadership and the public affairs community to create awareness about the program within the military as well as the civilian national and local media. As the Director of Public Relations, Bradley created new, inventive techniques that enabled her team to fulfill more than 46,000 media requests, execute more than 6,000 live televised interviews and distribute countless products via streaming, Web and Mobile casting. She established a vision for a global outreach that created direct engagement with foreign audiences in 21 nations. She personally handled all of DVIDS’ highest visibility events, including three Super Bowls and events with the president of the United States, the first lady, the vice president, secretary of defense and numerous governors and congressmen. Bradley has been published in trade publications such as PR Week, the PR Strategist and O’Dwyer’s PR Magazine. She has spoken at local and national conferences and has developed dynamic relationships with the military public affairs community, the national press and numerous African-American national civic organizations. She attended Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minn., and holds a B.A. in Communications with an emphasis on public relations.

She brings 12 years of diverse PR expertise working on everything from an international children’s entertainment brand to supporting the communication objectives of U.S. command generals. Her industry expertise encompasses strategic media relations, crisis management, corporate, entertainment and multicultural public relations.
